Well today is Thursday.... Over the hump and on the down side!! This has been a long but good week.  I like routine and knowing what to do with a time limit to do it. 

Acts Chapter 11:

1-17 Peter went into the house of the circumcised!!  The people were shocked and questioned him.  Amazing how they forgot so quickly that Jesus didn't only go to certain people.  I love how Peter had to give a blow by blow of events in order for them to okay it!

18 Says it all......"So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life"

19-30 To me what stand out are a couple of things...
1. Antioch seems like a place where several different cultures have come together.  Barnabas saw the grace of God and was glad and encouraged them all to remain ture to the Lord with their hearts.
2. Barnabas and Saul worked together that is where the name "Christians" came from.
3. Disciple each according to his ability decided to provide help for the brothers living in Jedea.  based on a prophet of famine.
4. Sending Gifts began... to help others.
