Last night this dry desert got some much needed rain, although this morning you could hardly tell that it rained except for a few puddles on our walk. Amazing how it soaked into the ground so quickly. That is until I got to the school. The playground was flooded looked like lake Acacia. I don't think they will be on that playground for today. Makes me think of my life... Sometime I am able to soak up knowledge or understanding and other times it just sits there. Is it me or is it that sometimes it pours in so fast I can not keep up? I think sometimes it is at my control. I don't want to hear or learn. I want to do it my way... Maybe I need to make it a point to keep my mind, spirit and body open to what needs to be done...

seems to me like this is a political war.. somethings never change. people are so afraid of offending a certain group that they do nothing or let certain things continue.
