Well here it is Wednesday.... I always look forward to Wednesday for several reasons. The week is half over, and Wednesday is the day that we have small groups (bible studies) at our church. It is almost as good as Sundays too me. I enjoy the atmosphere on Wednesday nights, layed back, dinner is served (yummy), fellowship, bible studies, children classes and I help in the youth. We usually start with a big group game and then spend some time in the word. The games are a nice release and fun. The time that we spend in the word is so special to me. I always love to hear what the youth pastor has to say (he is AWESOME!) and he usually opens the floor to the kids on their thoughts on what he is talking about. I love to hear what the kids come up with it is amazing. They truly get it. Our church is really like "Going Home" for me. I truly do life with these wonderful people. I love the fact that I get to see "my family" 2 times during the week!! Thank You North Hills!!
Acts Chapter 10:
1-2 How would you like to be know like that? I think it would be pretty AWESOME to be noted in the bible as God Fearing and prayed to God regularly...
3 again with the vision.... I get it Beth with the word and trying to be content with what I have although would love to see a vision... dream dream dream!!
4-8 amazing how God told him exactly what and where to go and who to get..
14 I would probably be like Peter if I did get a vision and look at it wrong... Can you imagine telling the Lord... "Surely not, Lord" don't think I would tell God no!!
20 I love that the Spirit was so specific. Get up, go downstairs and go with the 3 men. Maybe I would rather this than a vision. You don't know how many times I need God to tell me exactly what where when how!!
22 Following order or faith? you deciede....
26 how humble of Peter...
30 maybe I need to start praying at 3:00..
34-35 "realize how true that God does not show favoritism and accepts men from every nation who fear Him and do what it right". I love this statement!! (gives me hope)
44-46 I love that Peter was sharing his heart and the "Holy Spirt came on all who heard the message". This is a good reminder to us that we need to tell our story and let the Holy Spirit work. We are not to force just tell what God has done for us...
48 You gotta love a good baptizism!! Imagine the GLORY!!
