Tuesday 1/5/10 Acts Chapter 9

I must admit day 2 is harder to get up and get moving than day 1.  Although not going to focus on having time off since that is not what it is about.  Some didn't get time off and need to find the joy no matter what the circumstance working or not.  Rich or poor, sickness and health.  Sounds like a wedding!  I am convinced that it was not meant just for wedding but for life.  As my mom used to say and had a button made with this saying on it.   "TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED".  I choose this today!  Blessed!!  Blessed to have a family, job, car, house, friends, computer, church, health...  What are you blessed to have??

Chapter 9:

4 I don't know about you but I would change my ways if that happened to me...  Mona, Mona why do you persecute me??  even the thought makes me want to change my ways!!

9 I find it interesting that it was 3 days he (Saul) was blind and didn't eat anything...

10 I am so fascinated with these "visions"!  I would love to have a "vision" from God but would probably fall to the ground and not understand it!!

16 I will show him how much he must suffer for my name..... Interesting, no promise of blessing glory easy life of following Jesus.  Why do we think if we are a "christian" everything is going to be all right.  I think again it is a mind set! (I write the top part before reading the chapter, interesting!)

19-31 I bet that would have been hard and weird to understand how the man who was trying to harm the disciples was now working with one of them.  I love how God works.

32-42  I loved how Peter had such faith and just went with it.  Not praying Gods will or consoling those widows but had bold faith and proclaimed Gods healing and then told those healing get up and take care of your mat and to wake the dead.  I understand that it is Gods will and also the faith of those being healed and those praying now that is faith of a mustard seed.  Do you want to get well??
